– There’s One in Every Crowd – Eric Clapton
Eric Clapton, one of the world’s major rock stars, had a long history with famous groups such as the Yardbirds, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Delaney and Bonnie and Friends, Derek and the Dominos. Thought by many to be the best guitarist in rock and roll history, Eric Clapton is the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There’s One in Every Crowd was Eric Clapton’s third solo album released in 1975. Although no longer using heroin and now together with his long-time love interest, Patti Boyd Harrison, Clapton was still struggling with alcoholism , which is reflected in such songs from this album as, “Better Make It Through Today”, “High” and “Don’t Blame Me”. The album cover features a photo of Clapton’s dog, Jeep taken by Henri De Chatillon. Over the years, Clapton has included photographs of his dog and the dogs of various friends in his album artwork.
