Framed Vintage Record Album Cover
– The Leprechaun – Chick Corea
Chick Corea is one of the great jazz pianists from jazz’s post-Coltrane era. As a member of Miles Davis’ band in the 1960s, Corea participated in the birth of the electric jazz fusion movement. In the 1970s he formed Return to Forever, a jazz band with a fusion sound that relied on electronic instrumentation and yet still drew upon the Latin American musical styles. Now many of his compositions are considered standards in the world of jazz. Chick Corea was nominated for 59 Grammy Awards, winning 20. Corea’s album, The Leprechaun, was recorded and released in 1976. The album cover of The Leprechaun is colorful and whimsical, with a cartoon version of Corea playing his piano amidst flowers and fairies. This framed album cover would look great on the wall of any jazz aficionado. It would also fit equally well with a fairy tale or music themed room. Most young children would also find this delightful if hung on the wall of their bedroom.
